  1. May be responsible for supervision and work assignments of at least one apprentice
  2. Familiar with the NEC (Nat’l Electrical Code) and capable of use in order to properly size and select: Conduit, wire, boxes and insulation
  3. Familiar with the NEC and able to use its provisions for proper grounding and bonding
  4. Maintain assigned work vehicle in clean, orderly, and fully stocked manner
  5. May operate equipment associated with electrical installation and repair
  6. Must be recipient of journeyman or master electrician certification from an accredited training program or equivalent experience
  7. Understand/Interpret field survey markings
  8. Install and repair conduit, cable and wiring systems
  9. Complete daily reports and time cards for self and apprentice
  10. Able to properly read and interpret project plans and details
  11. Complete a minimum of 6 hours of technical training per year




  • High proficiency in reading electrical schematic diagrams and drawings
  • Knowledge and experience in medium voltage systems
  • Ability to work from ladders and bucket trucks at height
  • Must be willing to work early shifts or nights and weekends as the job demands and travel to different job sites as required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician


Specific tools are required for this position. Class B CDL may be required if needed. Must maintain the following safety certificates: OSHA 10 hr, Forklift, and First Aid/CPR. New Hire Safety Orientation, MSDS, LOTO and QMS are required on or before the first day of employment.
